I love this type of photo shoot as it gives me a chance to literally think artistically as I try to imagine the end result, considering every angle, ambient lighting, artificial lighting, posing, body language and other challenges every photographer faces when shooting people.
Events
This kind of photography gives a different kind of excitement to me. Meeting new people in events gives a sense of hope and the sense of new opportunities.
Food/Drinks
Playing with the exciting colors of food and drinks is just a pleasant experience. Enjoying them right after makes if even better!
Panning
Panning photography has been my passion since I started digging deeper into photography. Shooting random people on a bicycle going about their regular life gives a sense of drama and mystery that is different in every image.
I’m a Nikon guy. I use Nikon Z6II, a full frame mirrorless, as my main camera. The Nikon d750, also a full frame DSLR, is usually in the bag as a back up camera. For events I mainly use the versatile Nikon 24-70mm 2.8, paired with my trusty Sigma 70-200mm 2.8. For portraits, my new favorite is the Nikon 85mm 1.8. In the bag are my favorite wide angle Nikon 16-35mm, and my go to glass when shooting food and drink , the always reliable Tamron 90mm macro lens.
I’m a Godox fan as well. For lighting equipment, my go to brand is Godox. They’re reliable and justly priced. The Godox AD600BM has served me with countless portrait or food and drinks photography.
